Fatigue After Cancer Treatment
8 Week Supportive Yoga Program After Cancer Treatment
Treatment finished and everybody expected you to feel better. Instead there is a tiredness that sleep does not touch, a shoulder that no longer goes where it used to, and nights that break into pieces. Nobody scheduled anything for this part.
Our yoga teachers built this eight week program for after treatment specifically, because that is where the evidence is strongest. Gentle sessions with no weight through the arms, never in a heated room, aimed at the two things that respond most reliably: fatigue and sleep.
Three times a week for eight weeks. Four sequences. It is supportive care alongside your oncology follow-up and it is not a cancer treatment: anything new or unexplained goes to your team, not to a mat.

Judge by the day after
Fatigue that is worse for more than a day after a session means the dose was too high. Doing the ten minute version instead is pacing, not skipping.
