Vinyasa Yoga connects breath and movement into one flowing sequence. Every movement is accompanied by a conscious breath: inhaling and exhaling set the rhythm to which the asanas submit.
Unlike static forms of yoga, the positions in Vinyasa Yoga change continuously. The transition from one asana to the next is just as important as the posture itself: this is why people also speak of the "flow of yoga postures".
